Tangshan Caofeidian Shihua Crude Oil Terminal Company Ltd. (Tangshan Caofeidian Shihua) was established as a limited liability company in April 2011 and then transferred into a Sino-foreign Joint Venture in October 2012. Tangshan Caofeidian Shihua is held as to 90% by Sinopec KTS Development, a subsidiary of Sinopec Kantons.

The Port of Caofeidian where the company is situated has a coastline of 20km long, 25m of water depth 500m away from the coast, with the maximum point reaching 36m deep, enabling the 30DWT tankers to shipping in and out freely. Caofeidian port also enjoys absolute advantages with a natural waterway of 27m deep heading directly through the channel to the Yellow Sea which is a natural combination of waterway and deep groove.

Boasting a 300,000-ton crude oil berth and supporting facilities with design total throughput of 20 million tons per year, the company mainly renders crude oil unloading and transfer services.
