Tianjin Port Shihua Crude Oil Terminal Company Ltd. (Tianjin Port Shihua) was established as a limited liability company in December 2007, and then transferred into a Sino-foreign Joint Venture in October 2012. Tianjin Port Shihua is held as to 50% by Sinopec KTS Development, a subsidiary of Sinopec Kantons.

The city of Tianjin where Tianjin Port Shihua situated is at the center of Bohai-Rim Economic Circle and is the maritime gateway to the capital city of Beijing. With the demands for crude oil constantly increasing in North China, the geological advantages of the port of Tianjin as the portal of oil supply for North China will become all the more obvious. The port of Tianjin also serves as a bond connecting North-East Asia with Middle-West Asia. It is also an artificial deep-water harbour of the highest class in the world. With the main channel enjoys a depth of -21 meters, the 300,000 tons vessels can freely ship in and out on the tide.

Tianjin Port Shihua mainly renders crude oil loading and unloading services. Boasting one crude oil terminal of 300,000 tons capacity and supporting facilities, the terminal has a design total throughput of 20 million tons per year.
