East China LNG Shipping Investment Co., Ltd. incorporated in Hong Kong in February 2011 with registered capital of US$ 5 million. Sinopec Kantons indirectly held 30% share interests in the company through Kantons International Investment Limited, a subsidiary of Sinopec Kantons.As an investment holding company, EAST CHINA LNG SHIPPING INVESTMENT has established SPVs with Mitsui OSK Lines to invest two LNG vessels to transport 2 million tons of LNG each year which is imported by Sinopec from Papua New Guinea.
