On May 2, the Company has successfully conducted a Top-up Placing to issue 412.5 million Placing Shares at the price of HK$ 6.50 per Placing Share, a discount of 4.97% to the closing price of HK$6.84 per share on the Last Trading Day, under the General Mandate granted to the Directors by resolution of the Shareholders passed at the 2011 AGM. The Placing received encouraging market response with oversubscription of 260% and the net proceeds will be approximately HK$2.649 billion in total.

As another major capital operation initiated by the Company, this Placing will provide sufficient financial support for our core business investment and development in the future.
