    Sinomart KTS entered into the sale and Purchase Agreement with European partners to conditionally agree to purchase 50% equity interest in Vesta Terminals B.V. which principally engages in operating bulk liquid storage terminals with approximately 1.6 million cubic meters of storage capacity in Europe, and provides its customers with logistics services, including tailor-made services such as blending or heating of products for specific customer requirements.

    Sinomart KTS entered into Share Purchase Agreement with Indonesian partner to acquire 95% equity interest in PT. West Point, which aims at constructing an approximately 2,600,000-cubic-meter crude oil and petroleum products storage and oil blending complex and supporting quay and port facilities, and other ancillary facilities in the West Point Maritime Industrial Park, Batam Island, Indonesia.

    China Energy Shipping Investment Co., Ltd was incorporated in Hong Kong as a joint-venture set up by Kantons Investment, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sinopec Kantons and CS LNG, a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Shipping Development Company Limited.

    Sinopec Kantons raised roughly HK$ 3.5 billion by means of Rights Issue on the basis of one Rights Share for every one existing Share held on the Record Date, increasing the number of shares in issue from the previous 1,036,830,000 Shares to 2,073,660,000 Shares. The Rights Issue proved to be very successful and was oversubscribed by 500%.

    Sinomart KTS Development, a subsidiary of Sinopec Kantons entered into the Sale and Purchase Agreement and the Shareholders’ Agreement with Concord HK to acquire 50% equity interest in FOT, which will principally engage in operating oil storage facilities in Fujairah Free Zone, United Arab Emirates and will develop an oil storage project with a capacity of 1,125,000 cubic meters in the Emirate of Fujairah, and more specifically located adjacent to the Port of Fujairah, United Arab Emirates.

    Kantons Investment, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sinopec Kantons entered into the Joint Venture Agreement with CS LNG, a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Shipping Development. Pursuant to the Agreement, the two parties will set up a joint-venture in Hong Kong to engage in the investment and management of LNG vessels.

    Sinomart KTS and Sinopec Corp. entered into five crude oil terminal companies equity acquisition agreements to acquire the 50% equity interest in Ningbo Shihua Curde Oil Terminal Co. Ltd., the 50% equity interest in Qingdao Shihua Curde Oil Terminal Co. Ltd., the 50% equity interest in Tianjin Port Shihua Curde Oil Terminal Co. Ltd., the 50% equity interest in Rizhao Shihua Curde Oil Terminal Co. Ltd., and the 90% equity interest in Tangshan Caofeidian Shihua Curde Oil Terminal Co. Ltd., held by Sinopec Corp.

    Sinomart KTS Development Limited (“Sinomart KTS”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Sinopec Kantons, entered into the Zhan Jiang Port Petrochemical Terminal Co. Ltd. (“Zhan Jiang Port Petrochemical Terminal”) equity interest acquisition agreement with Zhan Jiang Port Group Company, pursuant to which Sinomart KTS acquired 50% of the equity interest in Zhan Jiang Port Petrochemical Terminal.

    As a major initiative for the Company to participate in the petrochemical product shipping business, Sinopec Kantons entered into the “Joint Investment Agreement of LNG Shipping Investment Company” with China Shipping Development Company.

The ultimate controlling shareholder of Sinopec Kantons remains to be Sinopec Group.

    Sinopec Kantons disposed of its petrol station business and acquired the additional 30% of equity interests of Huade Petrochemical Company Limited (“Huade Petrochemical”). Huade Petrochemical became the wholly owned subsidiary since then.

    Sinopec Kantons commenced the investment and construction of a 300,000-tonnes berth at Huizhou to raise berth unload capacity so as to meet downstream customers’ needs for increasing productivity.

    Approved by the General Administration of Customs of the State of P. R. China, a 300,000-tonne bonded crude oil storage facilities set up in Ma Bian Zhou Island Storage Tank Area, in Huizhou City, Guangdong Province, was put into operation formally.
